I've just purchased DSLR WONDLAN camera stabilizer and happen to be practicing with it. The balancing mechanism is apparent, so I ignored any suggestions to look at YouTube video clips and jumped straight in. Needless to say, I had a whole lot of trouble balancing it.



A few points. Inside the printed instructions, it mentions that you'll find two black plastic widgets that stop the camera rotating. There seemed to become no apparent way that these could possibly be applied to prevent camera rotation, and while viewing 1 of the videos on the internet, I noticed that these bits of plastic were rather getting used to ensure the counter weights had been evenly spaced on their slots (the lug fitted into the hole about the base plate, plus the bolt for the counter excess weight goes through the piece of plastic). It is actually quite critical to make sure the counter weights are the exact same distance as one another from the center pole. Also, do not forget that the center pole extends and collapses.
